Patong is also one of the busiest areas in Phuket, and it’s preferred by many tourist looking to enjoy some great nightlife, shopping and culinary experience. I choose to stay in The Charm Resort in Patong during my last visit to Phuket, and it turn out to be one of the best Hotel experience ever!
With its stylish décor, state of the art furnishings, modern amenities, spacious lounge and dining areas, The Charm Resort in Phuket carries a great appeal to travelers across different budget needs. In this blog post I will tell you about my experience of staying at this wonderful place in detail.
Location
Address : 212 Thawewong Rd, Pa Tong, Kathu District, Phuket 83150, Thailand
The resort is situated at a close proximity to the lively Patong Beach. You can reach the beach area very easily, since it is just a minute walk from the hotel.
Booking
The first day I arrived in Phuket, I had to quarantine in a SHA+ hotel awaiting for my test result. The moment my test result came out negative, I looked up on Agoda to find a better accommodation option. The charm resort, with it’s beautiful tropical landscaping and winding Lagoon style water features, looked like a good deal. The price was quite affordable even though I was booking just a day in advance. After much thought, I decided to go with the Deluxe pool access room. I had never stay in a pool access room before, and this was the first time I was about to experience it.
Pricing
The price that I paid for this room was around 2300 baht which roughly translate to around 5000 Indian rupees. You could get it for even much cheaper price if you are booking few weeks in advance. The booking is also available through the hotel website, so you can also check with the hotel to see if you get a better deal on direct booking.
Rooms at The Charm Resort
The pool access room that I booked was quite spacious. It featured a bedroom, a large hall with dining table, a pool side seating area, a kitchen, and stylish bathroom with a hot tub along with other modern amenities. The pool could be accessed from both the bedroom and the hall room. The best part about this suite was its corner location, which gave ample pool privacy, and it felt almost like a private pool.
The Bath
The bathroom facilities were excellent at the room where I was staying. It featured a separate shower and standard size bath tub. The lighting and the ambience were impressive.
Restaurant
The allure Kitchen is open from 06:30 am until 23:00 hours and is the main dining venue at Charm Resort, offering a range of lip-smacking local and international dishes. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet in the morning, and their lunch and dinner menu features la carte favorites. Feeling lazy to go out ? You can take advantage of the exceptional room service, which brings the best of their food and drinks offering at your fingertips.
Sky Bar
The Sky Bar operates from 10:00 to 21:00 hrs. Here you can sit back and relax on the lounger beside the pool and admire the stunning views of Patong Bay. The Sky Bar at The Charm Resort Phuket is a great place to hang out during the day with delicious drinks and snacks served by the pool.
Guest Policy
One of the top concerned that a traveler has when booking a hotel in Thailand is weather the hotel allows you to bring in guest from outside or not. And if they do, do they charge additional fees? This question is specially important for solo travelers who might want to bring in a friend they met at a bar or nightclub, or a dating partner they found on a dating app.
Normally the hotels don’t charge you any extra amount as long as the number of guests do not surpass the maximum occupancy level, which is usually two adults per room. If you want to bring in more than one guest, it’s a good idea to check with the hotel about there guest policies.
